2007 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Smith Vineyard - 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
California Certified Organic Farmers

Tasting notes:
Deep garnet color.  Bing Cherries, Plums and floral aromas lead to a white pepper and light oak mid-pallet.  Velvety tannins and a full bodies mouth feel lead to a smooth finish.
Pairing ideas:
Try with grilled rib-eye with gorgonzola, wild rice with dried currants, or seared duck breast with plum confit.

Wine Collection

As Smith Vineyard’s second generation, Gary and Christina Smith continue the fine art of winemaking and vineyard tending that Gary’s father began with his three sons. Now with three sons of their own, the Smiths handcraft small lots of classic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Primitivo, Syrah and Chardonnay from their 10 acre certified organic vineyard near Grass Valley, CA.
