Light bodies with a light garnet color. Fresh raspberries on the nose with aromas of black pepper and woodsy spices leading to a delicate finish.

Information:
Primitivo is originally of Croatian origin and is said to be the original Zinfandel clone. In 2006, Smith Vineyard purchased cuttings from U.C. Davis and grafted onto 26 year old root stock.
