Welcome to Smith Vineyard

As Smith Vineyard's second generation, Gary and Christina Smith continue the fine art of winemaking and vineyard tending that Gary's father began with his three sons.

Now with three sons of their own, the Smith's handcraft small lots of classic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Primitivo and Chardonnay. In April 2010 we estabilshed our Tasting Room in downtown Grass Valley. We converted an old building into a "spanking new tasting room" as noted by Sunset Magazine's Sara Schneider.
